Top Social Networking Apps in Ukraine: Q2 2025 Performance Insights

In the second quarter of 2025, the performance of the top social networking applications in Ukraine exhibited notable trends across downloads and active user metrics. This analysis, based on data from Sensor Tower, provides insights into the dynamics of these popular apps.

Threads saw its weekly downloads fluctuate throughout the quarter, starting at around 61K and peaking at 56K by the end of June. Meanwhile, the app's weekly active users displayed a steady increase, growing from approximately 2.1M to over 2.4M.

WhatsApp Messenger maintained a strong presence with weekly downloads climbing from 60K to over 80K. The app's active user base was robust, consistently exceeding 10M, with a slight increase towards the end of the quarter.

Google Meet experienced a decline in weekly downloads from about 10K to just over 6K. Similarly, its active users decreased from around 1.2M to 620K, indicating a downward trend over the months.

Facebook maintained stable weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $1.9K mid-quarter. Downloads showed an upward trend mid-quarter, reaching 51K, while active users remained strong, hovering around 10M throughout the period.

Discord - Talk, Play, Hang Out recorded a gradual increase in revenue, peaking at $15K in mid-June. Weekly downloads remained relatively stable, with a slight increase to 21K in June, and active users fluctuated slightly around 1.7M.
